Our CSR Commitments
For 15 years now, sustainable development has been an integral part of AGS Records Management’s strategy and has been a key factor in every decision taken within our company.
Although archiving is not one of the most polluting activities, AGS Records Management does not intend to hide behind this argument and works daily to affirm and lend its credibility to its ambitions. The ultimate goal is to enable our clients to work with a reliable, efficient service provider that respects others and the environment.
Because progressing towards sustainability in our activities is essential, because investing in future generations is our purpose, and because the well-being of our staff is key to our performance, we are mobilising all our employees and our
ecosystem to seek out more responsible solutions.

AGS Records Management has been a signatory of the UN Global Compact since 2009.
We renew our commitments each year, demonstrating integrity and ethically responsible behaviour.
Environmental responsibility
Working towards more sustainable and responsible consumption.
We are committed to choosing the best companies and partners to build lasting relationships together. We work with suppliers who share our values. From going paperless to waste sorting, via print optimisation, we are developing sustainable practices to create behavioural change at both an individual and collective level.
Made from recycled cardboard, our containers are also 100% recyclable. We partner with recycling companies to recover more than 3,000 tonnes of waste (paper, cardboard). These materials are transformed into paper pulp (or cardboard) to create a new cycle of use, thereby optimising our recycling rate.
Environment
Taking action to limit our environmental impact
The climate emergency and the collapse of biodiversity are two major environmental and societal challenges. In response, we launched a carbon footprint assessment in 2023 to implement concrete measures aimed at reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. Thanks to these results, we can now identify our main sources of emissions and work on specific areas for improvement.
First, we aim to set an example in the operation of our archive storage centres. We are working to reduce energy consumption at our most energy-intensive sites by improving energy efficiency (for example, by installing LED lighting and replacing heating systems).
Our buildings are constantly monitored in close collaboration with our site managers to better manage our energy consumption. Since 2010, we have been committed to a High Environmental Quality (HEQ) approach. We have adopted a new method for the construction and leasing of our new archive storage centres. This certification forms part of a sustainable development strategy, designed to optimise construction and renovation work to minimise environmental impact, particularly through reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
Taking action to protect forests and biodiversity
Reducing our carbon impact also involves adopting lower-carbon practices (such as optimising the archive management process) and more responsible ones (renewing our vehicle fleet with new low-carbon criteria). In 2024, awareness-raising initiatives and ecological actions focused on environmental issues were rolled out to all our employees (including competitions, digital sustainability workshops, sustainable mobility plans, eco-driving training, and internal notices) to support this transition and encourage behavioural change.
Since 2009, we have been a partner of the NGO Planète Urgence supporting its Environment & Development programme. Through global reforestation projects, Planète Urgence provides communities with the skills and resources they need to develop their local economies in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way. Each year, thanks to our clients, 24,000 trees are planted in countries particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change.
Culture
Working towards a corporate culture committed to the future
We are committed to ensuring a healthy, safe working environment, conducive to the professional development and well-being of everyone. The safety of our employees is our number one priority. As part of our Health and Safety policy, we have a duty to prevent risks inherent in our profession. Each year, several training and awareness sessions (on safe handling and posture, internal driving authorisations, and road safety) are delivered by qualified staff, along with regular exercises (quarterly safety and quality reviews, and health initiatives).
Our international reach provides us with a wide variety of profiles, and we nurture this diversity by developing our staff’s skills. Our human resources policy aims to recognise each employee’s career path and professional aspirations. We emphasise training and career development so that each employee can reach their full potential throughout their career. At AGS Records Management, gender equality has always been integrated into our culture (recruitment, training, remuneration, promotion, etc.).
We strive to make equality a reality with the ambition to continually improve. We are also committed to supporting organisations that promote the professional inclusion of people with disabilities. Since 2019, we have worked with the Néa Group, a socially responsible cooperative enterprise. Through this partnership, we enable people with disabilities to carry out professional activities in environments adapted to their needs.
